These shorts are made from a reproduction of a 1950s deadstock fabric. The seersucker cotton printed with tropical postcards is a faithful reproduction of the original fabric which was likely intended for men's shirting. The shorts silhouette is reminiscent of traditional rugby shorts worn throughout Canada with a short inseam and wide leg opening.
